Linda Evans is an American actress who was born on November 18, 1942. Her career spans a lengthy experience in the world of the field of television. She rose to fame playing Victoria Barkley's (played by Barbara Stanwyck) daughter Audra Barkley in the 1960s Western TV series The Big Valley (1965-1969). The family relocated from Baltimore to Edmonds, Washington when she was just six years old. father Jack was an sociologist working at the University of Washington as a vice president of internal communicationsand later headed the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association as well as Karen, her mom Karen was the special education teacher in the Seaview Elementary School in Edmonds. Faris is the older sister of Robert who is also a sociologist and a Professor in the University of California Davis. Her parents to be an actor as a young girl. Her first performance in the professional arena was at the age of 9 in a three month run of Arthur Miller's One-Act Danger: Memory! Seattle Repertory Theater. Following her role as Scout in the To Kill a Mockingbird production at Issaquah Washington, Village Theatre was where Faris starred as Heidi on stage in Our Town and Rebecca as the title role. As a student at Edmonds Woodway High school, Faris appeared in a frozen yogurt commercial on television.
